education & art

perhaps it's a rush, perhaps it's too soon. but the blackproject would like to share this quote.

“If all cultural expressions are equal, if all differences are to b e merged, if all classifications are to be declassified, then we are robbed of a sense of significance and deprived, at once, of any real concept of education. For if all things are utterly relative, there can be no leading out, no advance, no imaginative or intellectual accumulation. If all things are absolutely relative, nothing matters; and if nothing matters, the public space is quickly colonized by the most ruthless and the most rapacious, the thug and the quack.” Peter Abbs
